Well, Filipinos love ukay actually. Goods here are really cheap with superb quality. It is tiring if its your first time from the word "halukay", you really have to have the patience to make "halukay" because sometimes good things are kept under all these clothes... hehehe... branded clothes like GIORDANO, LACOSTE, etc. Ukays are not just for clothes, they run from households,shoes,bags and bedsheets.
Ukay stores are everywhere in manila but I found ukay's here in mindanao the cheapest compared to manila. Like I tend to buy my son's clothes in Ukay since I dont want to buy expensive clothes that my son would just use for 2 or 3 months. I find clothes in ukay for only 20 or 25 pesos with brands that are quite expensive when you buy in malls like CHILDRENS PLACE,BABY GAP etc. I just make sure that they're washed very well. I even have dozens of bag from ukay that only costs 50 - 200 pesos. That is why I love sunday, because Sunday is my Ukay day! LOL...;)
ROBERTA DI CAMERINO BAG,it says in the web that this is vintage and costs around $1500-$2000 but we had for only 100 pesos in the ukay last Sunday.
HERA bag, not a popular brand but I love this bag. It has many compartments and is ideal to use when I go around with my toddler. costs only 100 pesos.
NIKE rubber shoes for only 50 pesos. ;)
